Turnip Green Creative Reuse has launched a capital campaign to meet an amibitious goal of $250,000 for a new space.

A new building will ensure that we have a permanent home, increased creative experiences and sustainability education for our community, while decreasing the amount of valuable materials going to the landfill.

In the first five years in our new home, we will:

• Divert 500,000 tons of valuable resources from the landfill.
• Educate 150,000 Nashvillians about sustainability and creativity, including 86,800 underserved students.
• Welcome 50,000 visitors to our creative reuse center.
• Increase the number of hours devoted to teaching about waste reduction to 10,000.
• Showcase 500 reuse artists to the Nashville community in our Green Gallery and Marketplace.
